Global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas came onboard as the chairperson of The Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI) film festival announced on Tuesday. The position was previously held by Deepika Padukone. She was unanimously nominated by the MAMI's Board of Trustees comprising Nita M. Ambani (CoChairperson), Anupama Chopra (Festival Director).
